PROCESS FOR PREPARING POLYESTER FIBER

PURPOSE: A production method of a polyester fiber is provided to improve the spinning property and the productivity and to have the excellent strength, the modulus and the coloring property by adding a pentaerythritol and an isophthalic acid in a polyester chain. CONSTITUTION: In copolymerizing a polyester with a terephthalic acid or a dimethylterephthalate, an ethylene glycol and a side chain agent, an isophthalic acid is added at 1-5mol% and a pentaerythritol is added at 100-450ppm. The copolymer is drawn at a sufficient drawing rate and a sufficient drawing temperature after a melt spinning. A polyester fiber is produced by heating and fixing the drawn fiber at a high temperature. Thereby, the spinning property and the productivity are improved.
