PURPOSE: An apparatus for operating a parts assembler is provided to be capable of controlling the parts assembler while monitoring a monitor from front/rear directions of the assembler using one monitor and an operating panel for the monitor. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a monitor(210) mounted on a base of a parts assembler to control the parts assembler, an operating panel(220), a transfer unit and a rotating unit. The transfer unit moves the monitor and operating panel toward front/rear directions of the parts assembler. The rotating unit rotates the monitor and operating panel. In addition, the transfer unit comprises a housing(240), a first motor(241), a pinion(242) and a rack member(230). The housing supports the monitor and operating panel. The pinion is rotated by the first motor fixed to the housing. The rack member is fixed on the parts assembler to be engaged with the pinion.
