METHOD FOR SPACER ALIGNMENT OF FIELD EMISSION DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method of mounting spacer of field emission display is provided to prevent other elements from being damaged and contaminated and to be easy to mount the spacer to the field emission display. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of holes(61) are formed at a lower substrate(41) on which plural cathode electrodes(43), plural emitters(45), insulators(47) and gate electrodes(49) are formed. The holes(61) are formed at an area on the lower substrate(41) where the cathode electrodes(43) and the gate electrodes(49) are not formed. A plurality of holes(61) are formed at an upper substrate(51) so as to correspond to the holes formed at the lower substrate(41). A plurality of spacers(59) are formed at an outer side of a field emission display and inserted in the holes of the lower substrate(41). The upper substrate(51) and the lower substrate(41) are aligned and upper surfaces of the spacers(59) are inserted in the holes.
