PURPOSE: A liquid crystal displayer is provided to prevent short-circuit of a wire and the damage of parts in assembling, to improve assembling process by improving the structure between a lamp assembly and an inverter. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal displayer comprises a lamp assembly and an inverter(30).The lamp assembly is mounted on one edge of a liquid crystal panel(12), comprises a lamp(14) on the one edge and a first connector(16) fixed on one side of the lamp. The first connector(16) is electrically connected to the electrodes(18,20) of at least one lamp. The inverter(30) is mounted on another edge of the liquid crystal panel and comprises a second connector(32) coupled to the first connector. The first and second connectors(16,32) respectively consist a pair of a socket and a plug. The second connector is connected to the inverter via a pair of wires or fixed to the inverter.
