The invention concerns liquid crystal display screen for image display, and particularly those wherein a first transparent plate (3) is rigidified by means of a so-called reinforcing plate (7). The invention is characterised in that the first plate (3) and the reinforcing plate (7) are made mutually integral by means of an adhesive element (11) comprising at least a double-sided adhesive film (12, 13, 14, 16) which can be peripherally deposited around the image zone. The invention is particularly applicable to liquid crystal display screens for equipping aeroplanes, helicopters and the like.
