APPARATUS FOR DRYING USING DIELECTRIC HEATING

PURPOSE: A drying apparatus using dielectric heating is provided to quickly and simply dry sludge of wastes as well as of general textile and glass wool. CONSTITUTION: AC power for driving an oscillation circuit is output from a power supply control part(200). The AC power is fed to a rectifying part(300) and is then converted to DC voltage. The DC voltage output from the rectifying part is fed to a plate of a vacuum tube(VT) which is an oscillation element. The power for emitting thermal electrons output from a transformer(250) for the filament power of the power supply control part is fed to a filament(F) of the vacuum tube. The vacuum tube outputs voltage having resonance frequency of tank circuits resonating to the frequency defined by the capacitance and the inductance. High frequency signals are induced to a secondary coil and fed to a first and a second anode electrodes of an oven assembly. Between the cathode electrodes grounded to the first and the second anode electrodes, an AC field by the high frequency is formed. The object to be dried is uniformly heated by the radiation by the loss of dielectric. Herein, the frequency used for forming a high frequency electric field is over 1-180MHz, and the maximum output is restrained within 200Kw.
