CHANNEL RECEPTION INTERFACE UNIT OF DIGITAL SATELLITE RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A channel reception interface unit of a digital satellite receiver is to allow a single satellite receiver to have a compatibility capable of receiving satellite signals having different digital satellite rules. CONSTITUTION: A channel reception interface unit comprises: a PCMCIA(Personal computer memory card international association) slot(200); a channel reception module(100) having a tuner applicable to respective satellite rules, for interfacing a satellite signal tuned by the tuner as a signal capable of being input to the PCMCIA slot; and a satellite processing module(300) for processing a satellite signal provided through the PCMCIA slot as a signal capable of being displayed on screen. The channel reception module a transmission stream interface(120) interfaces a transmission stream data of a broadcasting signal of a channel received through the tuner to be output to the PCMCIA slot.
