PURPOSE: An adjuster of a drum brake is provided to reduce producing cost by improving an adjuster, to prevent unnecessary friction loss of linings and to improve braking reply efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A drum brake is composed of a pair of brake shoes(300,400) and a wheel cylinder. A leading shoe(300) and a trailing shoe(400) are formed in T shape in its section, and composed of an annular rim(320) having linings(310,410) on its circumferential face and plate type webs(330,430) combined to the inner face of the rim via a welding piece, having its one end supported to an anchor block(210) and having its other end contact to the front end of a piston embedded in a wheel chamber. Herein, if the linings are abraded excessively, the interval from the inner face of a drum(100) becomes long. An adjuster(600) maintaining uniform interval by compensating the lengthening of the interval is interposed between the leading shoe and the trailing shoe. The adjuster makes the leading shoe and the trailing shoe operate outward for the performance of braking for parking.
