PURPOSE: A device of a bridge support member is provided to reduce an outer shock load or a vibration load added to a bridge and to reduce a shock and a displacement of a construction according to an earthquake by absorbing an energy in an earthquake load without a separated earthquake-proof design when the earthquake is generated in the bridge. CONSTITUTION: A lower steel plate(2) is installed in a position corresponding to a upper steel plate(1) in the upper face of a bridge installed a bridge support member. A dowel bar(11) is equipped to combine with the bridge in a rear side(10) of the lower steel plate(2). A lower projected portion for preventing a movement of a spring(6) is equipped to limit a horizontal movement of the spring by projecting at a certain height in a front side of the lower steel plate(2) faced to the upper steel plate(1). An upper projected portion(5) and the lower projected portion(6) are arranged in a position corresponding to each other. A self-weight of a upper construction, an outer load of a vehicle, a shock load, a vibration load and so on transferred from the upper construction(U) are transferred to a lower pier by the spring(S) installed between the upper steel plate(1) and the lower steel plate(2). Because the load from the upper construction(U) is transferred to the pier(L) by the elasticity of the spring, the upper construction is quickly restored to an original position by the restoring force of the spring through a displacement is generated in the upper construction by the outer load. And a separated reducing device requested at an earthquake-proof design is unnecessary by absorbing the vibration energy with the elasticity of the spring through the earthquake is generated.
