PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently distribute the specified program desired by a viewer to reception terminal equipment by providing a cyclic means for successively cyclically switching plural transmission lines at prescribed timing and a distribut ing means for distributing the specified program through the transmission line switched by the cyclic means. SOLUTION: Based on the control of a switching controller 16 as the cyclic means, a switch 15 switches the state of a connection with a switching terminal 15A or 15B and alternately sends a TS packet PD7 of weather chart information D7 to transmission parts 19A and 19B as the distributing means at the interval of 10 minutes. At the same time, NIT data PD17A and PD17B newly generated by an NIT generator 17 are sent to the transmission part 19A or 19B at the switching timing of the switch 15. Then, transport streams S8 and S11 are generated by multiplexing parts 8 and 11, and broadcasting data S9 and S12 are generated by passing these streams through modulation parts 9 and 12 and transmitted form antennas 10 and 13 to a communication satellite 18.
