PURPOSE: A surge voltage suppression circuit of high voltage transformer is provided to prevent the surge voltage generated at ON/OFF switchint state of a transformer, and to reduce costs. CONSTITUTION: A surge voltage suppression circuit of high voltage transformer comprises a magnetron(20), a high voltage capacitor(22), a high voltage transformer(24), a switch(26), and a surge voltage suppression circuit(10). The high voltage capacitor(22) and the high voltage transformer(24) are added circuits to the magnetron(20). The switch(26) turns the input power of the transformer(24) ON/OFF. The surge voltage suppression circuit(10) is disposed between the switch(26) and the transformer(24) to suppress the surge voltage. NTCs(negative temperature coefficients) are serially connected to the input of the transformer. The CRs(cement resistors) are parallel connected to the NTCs. The PTCs(positive temperature coefficients) are serially connected to the CRs. |
