PURPOSE: A duplex outdoor BTS(Base station Transceiver Subsystem) using a hybrid system between an HPA(High Power Amplifier) and an OA(Optic Antenna) is provided to receive a signal from an HPA and distribute power to an OA by interfacing the OA system to a BTS using the HPA and adopting a duplex BTS front end unit. CONSTITUTION: A duplex outdoor BTS is comprised of a BTS front end unit(100), a receiving interface unit(200), a transceiver(300), a BTS tester power detection unit(400) and an optic antenna interface unit(500). The BTS front end unit(100) is comprised of an HPA(190), a transmitting band pass filter(180), directional couplers(160,170), an interface unit(150), a receiving band pass filter(140), a low noise amplifier(130), a duplex power coupler(120), and a duplex divider(110). The receiving interface unit(200) amplifies a signal received from an OA system and transmits it to the BTS front end unit(100). The transceiver(300) connects transmitted/received signals to the BTS front end unit(100). The BTS tester power detection unit(400) is connected with the BTS front end unit(100) for BTS self-performance diagnosis. The optic antenna interface unit(500) connects the BTS front end unit(100) and the OA system.
