METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VARYING BRAKING FORCE OF TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE: A method and system for varying braking force of a tape recorder is provided to prevent a cassette tape from being damaged by varying braking force in response to a winding amount of the tape. CONSTITUTION: A system for varying braking force of a tape recorder includes a middle gear(80) having a rotational shaft(82) mounted on a deck(20) to transmit driving force of a loading motor to a cam gear(90). The rotational motion of the rotational shaft(82) is converted into an intermittent rotational motion by a first power converter(110,120). The intermittent rotational motion is converted into a linear reciprocal motion by a second power converter(140). According to the linear reciprocal motion, braking force applied to supply and take-up reel tables by first and second main brakes by first and second springs disposed between the second power converter and the first and second main brakes.
