PURPOSE: An air passage structure of a machinery chamber in a refrigerator is provided to improve the cooling efficiency of the refrigerator by enabling the passage of air in the inside of the machinery chamber, thereby reducing the consumption of electricity. CONSTITUTION: A machinery chamber having a base plate supporting the bottom of the machinery chamber, a compressor(11) installed in one side of the base plate(200), a condenser(12) installed in the side of the compressor, thereby emitting a great deal of heat, an emitting fan(13) rotatable installed in the side of condenser, thereby emitting the heat generated in the compressor and the condenser, a fan motor(13b) axially combined with the heat fan, thereby transmitting the driving power to the heat fan, and a cover covering the compressor, the condenser, the emitting fan, and a rear of the fan motor, wherein an air passage structure of a machinery chamber in a refrigerator includes a plurality of flow vacancy(210) formed at the position in which the fan motor is located, and a plurality of discharge vacancy(220) formed at the position in which the compressor is located, so that an air smoothly flows and discharges into the inside of the machinery chamber.
