PURPOSE: A portable multimedia player is provided to play sources of multimedia entertainment regardless of the user's physical location. CONSTITUTION: A portable multimedia player is composed of encoder and decoder, and input and output devices. It features a cover(91-1) protected LCD screen(91) that functions as a monitor and a control board touch pad(15). The file input is made through the memory slot(21), a PC port(23), and a UART connection slot(22). A data area(32) is prepared to store file information, a BIOS area(31) to control the input and output of data, a CPU processor(40), and an SRAM(40) to read the data stored in the memory card. A signal processor(50) and a decoder(60) is prepared to process the CPU's information and a sound module(70) controls the output of sounds through speakers(71). A battery slot(80), an earphone slot(T1), sound control switch(13), screen control switch(14) and an LCD(15) connected system control switch(12) and simple control switch(11) allow easy control.
