Automatic channel searching (ACS) in digital radio receiver, such as TV receiver, with sequential channel tuning

The effective channels are found according to intensity and fault compensated state of the signal tuned in previous step. The effective channels, found in the previous step, are sequentially tuned from first to the last effective channel. Then follows an analysis of the tuned signal, in order to classify it w.r.t.. to various necessary information. The ACS is preferably carried out when the TV receiver etc. has been installed, or when the user has chosen an ACS operational method. Independent claims are included for a TV etc. receiver.
