PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a compartment for a plasma display panel is provided for increasing the discharge characteristics and a yield, for simplifying compartment manufacture. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a compartment for a plasma display panelincludes a first to a forth steps. At the first step, a mold(71) with grooves of compartment-shape is supplied. At the second step, a resin material(72) for compartment is densified on the groove and surface of the mold(71). At the third step, a board is applied on the resin material(72), and the resin material(72) for compartment is solidified. At the forth step, the mold is removed. The resin material(72) for compartment includes a light absorbing and reflecting material. |
