PURPOSE: A power ON/OFF control function of a TV is provided. In general, when the TV is turned off by using a remote controller, a standby power circuit is operated and power is consumed until the TV is turned on. CONSTITUTION: A power ON/OFF control function of a TV comprises the steps of displaying an OSD screen of canceling a power ON/OFF function(S150); discriminating a cancel state of the power ON/OFF function in the OSD screen display step(S200); and turning ON/OFF the TV according to the application of the utility alternating current(AC) power, when the power ON/OFF function is canceled(S300,S350). |
