PURPOSE: A device for supplying a water and control method thereof are provided to prevent the stop of a diaphragm of a water supply valve to supply a washing water into a washing machine and a water leakage generated by an unbalance of a water pressure, and to obtain a soft and quiet opening and closing operation of the water supply valve. CONSTITUTION: A moving motor is rotated reversely by a signal of a microcomputer at a process of water supply(S1). A second limit switch is turned on(S3) by moving a rack backward(S2). A water supply is proceeded(S6) by stopping the moving motor with the on of the second limit switch(S3), and by stopping the rack(S5) at the same time. After finishing the water supply(S7), the moving motor is rotated right by the signal of the microcomputer(S8) and a second limit switch is turned on(S10) by advancing the rack(S9). The water supply is finished by stopping the rack(S11) by the on of the first limit switch(S10) and by stopping the rack(S12) at the same time. |
