PURPOSE: A resin composition for shoe heels comprising polyethylene, polypropylene, styrene butadiene block copolymer, optionally inorganic fillers, and other additives is provided which is excellent in hardness, tensile strength, specific gravity, and flexibility as well as process ability. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for shoe heels comprises 30 to 40% by weight of polyethylene, 20 to 30% by weight of polypropylene, 20 to 30% by weight of styrene butadiene block copolymer, 10 to 20% by weight of polystyrene, and optionally inorganic fillers, and other additives. The resin composition has not only the advantages of excellent physical properties such as hardness and tensile strength, low specific gravity and excellent flexibility, in particular cold resistant flexibility, but also the advantages of easy work such as sewing by applying adhesives to the molded sheet. |
