ATM MULTIPLEXING AND DEMULTIPLEXING DEVICE OF ADSL DSLAM

PURPOSE: An ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) multiplexing and demultiplexing device of ADSL(Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line) DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) is provided to detect the ATM cell in a series bit stream received/transmitted to a modem part and to multiplex and demultiplex it. CONSTITUTION: A Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer of Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line comprises an ATM cell routing part(400) routing to output transmitting road, based on the head information of a cell transmitted from a modem part(100) transmitting and receiving a series bit stream including an ATM cell. An ATM cell multiplexing and demultiplexing module(600) is equipped with a multiplexing part(610) and a demultiplexing part(620). The multiplexing part(610) multiplexes the input signals bottom-up transmitted from a plurality of modem parts(100) selectively and transmits it to the ATM cell routing part(400). The demultiplexing part(620) demultiplexes an ATM stream top-down transmitted from the ATM cell routing part(400) and transmits it by each subscriber.
