PURPOSE: A band tape for a cathode ray tube is provided which can remove the static electricity easily generated from a panel. CONSTITUTION: A band tape for a cathode ray tube can remove the static electricity easily generated from a panel. The band tape includes an adhesion layer(210) which is attached on an outer surface of a funnel and can contact with an anti-electrification film formed on the whole surface of the funnel, and a conductive layer(230) intervened between a upper surface of the adhesion layer and a lower surface of a wide band. The band tape further includes a metal layer(220) between the adhesion layer and the conductive layer to increase the conductivity.
