PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube is provided whose structure is improved so as to be able to be synchronized with a deflection signal of a deflection yoke in order for the arrangement of R, G, B electron beams in a peripheral part of a screen to be the same as that in a center part. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube is provided where a deflection yoke(24) is installed in acone part of a funnel faced with a panel end, and a convergence purity magnet(26) is installed in a neck part, and a magnet body(29) is installed between the deflection yoke and the convergence purity magnet. A fluorescent film is formed inside the panel, and the deflection yoke deflects an electron beam emitted from an electron beam. The cathode ray tube includes at least more than one electromagnets where a current is applied by being synchronized with a deflection signal of the deflection yoke.
