ARMOR ROD FOR PREVENTING TRACKING OF ALL DIELECTRIC SELF SUPPORTING CABLE

摘要

PURPOSE: An armor rod for armoring an all dielectric self supporting (ADSS) cable is provided to prevent tracking from occurring at the high electric field. CONSTITUTION: An armor rod is an insulating body of high resistance which covers a dead end of the ADSS cable by bending in order to prevent tracking of the ADSS cable at the high electric field. A cover of the ADSS cable is prevented from being damaged due to inflow of free electrons, by using the high resistance armor rod at the dead end of the ADSS cable.
