PURPOSE: A circuit for controlling the detection of BBV(Back Bias Voltage) is provided to control the detector of BBV according to the operation mode of a chip. CONSTITUTION: A deciding unit(41) of operational mode in a control circuit(103) decides the operational mode of a chip by receiving plural bank active signals(BAi,I=0,..,n). Herein, plural bank active signals are low level in a standby mode for the deciding unit of operational mode to output operational mode deciding signal(ACT) of low level through an inverter(11). At least one bank active signals is high level in an active mode for the deciding unit of operational mode to output operational mode deciding signal of high level. Also, a controlling unit of BBV detector receives deciding signal of operational mode, output signal of refresh tire, and the detecting signal of BBV detector for outputting controlling signal of detection to control the BBV detector in the standby mode and in the active mode.
