Rollers, esp. damping rollers for offset printing machines, are claimed, with a coating of elastomeric material contg. hydrophilic gps. (I). Also claimed is the prodn. of these rollers by coating the roller with (I). Pref. the hydrophilic gps. in (I) are COOH, carboxylate, amido, SO3H and/or sulphonate gps. Pref. (I) consists of NBR, HNBR, CR, XNBR, ECO, EPDM, CSM, NR, silicone rubber or a mixt. thereof. |
