USER INTERFACE METHOD IN NON-REAL TIME TYPE VIDEO ON DEMAND SYSTEM AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A user interface method in non-real time type video on demand system and a device therefor are provided to simultaneously cinema information and data in down-loading a cinema. CONSTITUTION: A user interface method in non-real time type video on demand system comprises steps of: (a) reading and storing a cinema list from a server; (b) down-loading a cinema selected by a user among cinemas contained in the cinema list; (c) reading the cinema list stored in step (a); (d) outputting the information and data the selected cinema among cinemas contained the stored cinema list. The device therefor comprises a down load manager(104a) for down-loading a cinema containing related information and data, a memory(104b) for storing the information and data related to the selected cinema, and an MPEG-5 engine(104c) for reading and outputting the information and data related to the selected cinema.
