METHOD FOR PROCESSING CONTROL MESSAGE FOR RELEASING LABEL SWITCHING PATH IN ASM SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A processing method of control message is provided to process the control message for releasing a label switching path after setting the label switching path for transmitting an internet traffic inside an ATM(asynchronous transfer mode) switching system at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: A switching resource is requested for each prefix of IP(internet protocol) by analyzing a control message for establishing a label switching path inputted from the other station. The switching resource is removed for each prefix of IP, and the prefix of IP and the removed switching resource are withdrawn. The withdrawn information is transmitted to the other station to request the release of label switching path. Thereby the efficiency of a switching system is improved by controlling each functional block for releasing after setting a label switching connection inside the switching system.
