METHOD FOR MANAGING LOAD OF CELLULAR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for managing load of cellular system is provided to decrease an overload of a base station, and to protect a system of the base station by controlling a load on an air interface in the case that a great amount of loads are existed in a CDMA system. CONSTITUTION: A call control processor provides a priority to a base station which uses a traffic with a first reference value or more(s110). It is judged as to whether a load of the call control processor is more than a second reference value(s120). The call control processor requests a change of a parameter to the base station when the load of the call control processor is more than the second reference value(s130). The base station changes an access overload class(ACCOLC) of a mobile telephone to limit a transmission and register message(s140). The call control processor requests a recovery of a parameter to the base station when the load of the call control processor is less than the second reference value(s150). The base station recovers the parameter of the access overload class(s160).
