PURPOSE: A spray refractory for repairing a refining furnace is provided which has superior corrosion resistance, shortly cured and strongly adhered when adhered to the repairing surface, thereby improving the adhesion. CONSTITUTION: The spray refractory for repairing a refining furnace comprises 74 to 84 wt.% of magnesia having a maximum particle diameter of 3 mm in which particles having a diameter of 0.075 mm or less are 34 to 42 wt.%, 4 to 15 wt.% of calcium oxide, 1 to 3 wt.% of phosphoric acid and 3 to 7 wt.% of silica in 100 wt.% of refractory consisting of magnesia aggregate, limes, silica base inorganic binder and phosphoric acid base inorganic binder.
