A MANUPACTURING PROCESS AND A DEVICE OF THE SAND MAKING USE OF THE STEEL SLAG

PURPOSE: A method for preparing sand from iron slag is provided which improves the slag sand having high intensity and minimizes its manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) separating the slag having a diameter of not more than 25 millimeter from slag and transferring the slag having a diameter of not less than 26 millimeter to a pulverizing process and particle selecting process; (ii) repeatedly crushing and sorting out the slag having a diameter of not less than 26 millimeter 1-3 times to separate slag having a diameter of not more than 15 millimeter and iron component therefrom; (iii) after mixing the slag having a diameter of not more than 15 millimeter with side materials having a diameter of 0.2-15 millimeter, open-air storing the mixture for 1-15 days to harden it; and (iv) pulverizing the open-air stored mixture slag into slag having a diameter of not more than 5 millimeter and pulverizing the slag once again to have a desired particle size to prepare slag sand.
