PURPOSE: An electron radiation material composition is provided to prevent a lower layer of an electron radiation material from being separated from a gas metal by forming the electron radiation material of lower and upper layers. CONSTITUTION: A heater(101) for heating a cathode is inserted and installed in a cylindric sleeve(102), and a gas metal(103) is formed on an upper part of the sleeve. An electron radiation material(104) is coated on an upper surface of the gas metal. The electron radiation material(104) consists of a lower layer(104b) and an upper layer(104a) in order to prevent the electron radiation material from being separated from the gas metal. The lower layer(104b) is made of an alkali earth metal compound oxide comprising a barium oxide(BaO). The upper layer(104a) is made of an alkali earth metal compound oxide comprising a barium oxide(BaO), an active metal and a resolution metal oxide and is coated on the lower layer.
