BACTERICIDAL COMPOSITION AND STERILIZING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A bactericidal composition is provided which do not erode metal and have high sterilizing activity, a broad spectrum of target microorganisms and a superior antiseptic activity and the sterilizing method using the same is also provided. CONSTITUTION: A bactericidal composition includes 3-isothiasolone represented as formula 1 wherein R is hydrogen or chlorine, and polyhexamethyleneguanidine phosphate represented as formula 2 wherein m is 2-4 of integer and n is 1-14 of integer. 3-isothiasolone is preferable to be 2-methyl-4-isothiasolone-3-on or 5-chloro-2methyl-4-isothiasolone-3-on, and is more preferable to be their mixture of which the weight ratio is 1: 20-20: 1. The mixing ratio of 3-isothiasolone and polyhexamethylguanidine is desirable to be 1: 1-1: 65 in the weight ratio, and is more desirable to be 1: 1-1: 4.
