Noninvasive blood pressure meter has sleeve, with digital control of pneumatic inflation

A sleeve (1) is connected to a pressure sensor by means of a pressure convertor (4) with an amplifier (5) and analogue-digital convertor (6). A control and computing unit (2) controls the system and is connected to a pressure transmitter (3) for the sleeve. The analog to digital convertor has a 16 bit resolution and a sampling rate of at least 50 Hz.
