An electrical connecting cable for bipolar electrosurgical scissors. The cable (5) has a pair of insulated parallel conductors (10) having insulating coatings (30). The coatings are separably connected. A slidable grommet (50) is mounted to the cable. The conductors are partially separable from each other. A plug (60) is mounted to one end of the cable. Spring loaded connectors (80) are mounted to the other end of the cable.
