PURPOSE: A reading support system provides 3-dimensional additional information about the content of the book as well as the content of the book, when a user is reading a book. CONSTITUTION: A 3- dimensional reading support system is comprised of a book where a mark detectable with a digital camera is attached, a digital camera for image pickup of a reader's finger movements and the page being read, a computer researching additional information according to the detected movements, and a display device for displaying the result researched by the computer.
