PURPOSE: An apparatus for stabilizing lamp driving frequency of a ballast is provided to obtain feedback stabilization by detecting a lamp driving frequency simply by the feedback of a DC voltage supplied to the lamp. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for stabilizing lamp driving frequency of a ballast is provided. The apparatus can perform the feedback stabilization by detecting a lamp driving frequency simply, by detecting a frequency in a side of a load from a secondary coil induced in a load transformer driving the lamp and by performing the current control according to the detected frequency. The apparatus includes: a power supply part(100) converting an inputted AC voltage into a DC voltage and improving power factor; a boost-up part(120) boosting up the DC voltage to a fixed voltage; a power factor improving part(110) improving power factor in order for the voltage supplied from the power supply part to be supplied to a lamp(150) without loss; a rectification part(130) full-rectifying the DC voltage provided from the boost-up part; a lighting part(140) generating a high voltage to light the lamp; a compensation part(170) controlling the current value flowing in the lamp; a frequency detection part(180) detecting a frequency induced in the secondary part; and a control part(160) providing a current control signal according to the frequency provided from the frequency detection part.
