PURPOSE: A cup holder assembly is provided to safely support various cups regardless of a diameter or height, so the convenience of a passenger is improved. CONSTITUTION: A first link(16) is moved down by self weight of a cup laid on a cup contained space(14), which is formed on a trim(12). A second link(20) forms a first gear part(30) ,with moving upward along a downward movement of the first link. First gear members(34,36,38) is linked to the first gear part of the second link. A first cup supporting member(24) forms a second gear part(32) linked to the first gear member and supports a cup, with moving horizontally in a cup contained space(14).
