Commercial vehicle gearbox selector has drive shaft, main shaft and intermediate shaft. The main shaft is supported by a journal which is supplied with oil via an axial hole and groove (6) in the drive shaft. A ring (8) fixed in the groove within the hole extends over half the circumference of the groove. Ring (8) has oil pressure exerted on an edge (9) and inclined surface (10) towards direction of rotation.
