The chemical analysis apparatus comprises a brass block and ceramic mantle to minimize heat loss from high molecular pyrolysis gas. The chemical analysis apparatus comprises a gas chromatography unit (1), a column (2) and a pyrolysator (10). The column is joined to the pyrolysator via a gas-tight tube (9). A brass block (5) having a high thermal-conductivity is located between the pyrolysator and the gas chromatography unit inlet zone. The column passes through the brass block and through a tube (4) projecting into the injector (3). A ceramic thermal insulation mantle surrounds the block. The gas split is effected by a reduction fitting.
