System provides indexes under or over pair of right and left windows of stereo slide mount which come into agreement with films' indexes when mount windows and pictures of films are brought into agreement. Frame number is written on regions outside image on film by laser beam emitters (73) located on rear of film guide (64). Printer (81) is used with detecting device (61). Base frame (51a) of stereo slide mount is mounted on mount holder (88) and print execution instruction is input. Detecting device processing unit provides data about offset position for printer control unit and printer control drives print head to print index and frame numbers. Films corresponding to film numbers printed on base frame are mounted on base frame (51a), indexes are brought into agreement with indexes of base frame and cover frame is mounted. Independent claim is included for method of mounting stereo photographs.
