PURPOSE: An abbreviated dialing method in video communication system using stored image is provided to achieve video call through stored video image, by storing together the other person's telephone number and the image. CONSTITUTION: In abbreviated dialing method in video communication system using stored image, if a user selects an image storage key, the other persons' telephone numbers, in addition to the presently received images, stored. The stored video images are displayed in the thumb nail image shapes. The user proceeds telephone call by means of the telephone number stored in the video image selected by the user among the displayed video images.
