METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HEADER TANK FOR HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a header tank for a heat exchanger is provided to reduce the occurrence of scraps of material width before processing when manufacturing a header tank inserted to at least one of tubes. CONSTITUTION: At least one of tube holes(20) is formed on a press(19), and the length of a header is set up. Multiple headers are formed of aluminum having one or both side clad and molded by bending by a roll former. The headers are inserted to each other and integrally brazed in a furnace. And the press is processed by a second roll former(or a miller) to prepare a desired header tank by performing molding by bending. Then, an out conveyer is preformed. And a hole(21) for inserting an inlet/outlet pipe is processed by a hole processor. Herein, lengthwise cutting of a header tank and pressurizing for punching a tube hole are performed simultaneously, or cutting is performed by a cutter after molding. Or pressurizing work is performed after basic molding by using a roll former to prevent the change in forming a tube hole.
