PURPOSE: A method of controlling a driving force of automotive vehicle is provided to achieve maximum acceleration of the vehicle while allowing a choice between a brake control system and a throttle control system in accordance with the travel speed of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of determining whether the larger amount of slip(slip 1) of driving wheels exceeds a predetermined first threshold level, a second step of determining whether the ground is asymmetric if the slip 1 is determined as higher than the threshold level in the first step, a third step of performing a brake control system with respect to the slip 1 if the ground is determined as asymmetric in the second step, a fourth step of determining whether a brake control system is being performed if it is determined that the ground is not asymmetric in the second step, a fifth step of performing a throttle control system with respect to the slip 1 if it is determined that a brake control system is not being performed in the third step, and a sixth step of simultaneously performing the brake control system and the throttle control system if it is determined that the brake control system is being performed in the fourth step.
