摘要 PURPOSE: A control method of the driving power of a vehicle engine is provided to control engine torque properly based on the condition of road surface by deciding the state of road surface on which a vehicle is traveling by considering the velocity and the slippage degree of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An amount of slippage and the degree of acceleration of a vehicle are measured. If the degree of slippage and acceleration are increased, a target torque of an engine in a vehicle is reduced to the target torque of the surface of a downhill road. If the amount of slippage is increased and the degree of acceleration is reduced, the target torque of the engine is reduced to the target torque of the surface of a low-friction road. If the amount of slippage is reduced and the degree of acceleration is reduced, the target torque of the engine is increased to the target torque of the surface of a high-friction road. If the amount of slippage is reduced and the degree of acceleration is increased, the target torque of the engine is increased to the target torque of the surface of an uphill road.
