PURPOSE: A method for annealing ferritic stainless heat steel plate is provided to improve the oxidation resistance from the reduction of dew point of hydrogen gas. CONSTITUTION: The steel is comprised of 0.3wt% or less of C, 10 to 20wt% of Cr, 1.0wt%or less of Ni, 0.1wt% or less of N, 1.0wt% or less of Si, 2.0wt% or less of Mn, 0.5wt% or less of Ti, 0.6wt% or less of Nb, 2.0wt% or less of Mo, 1.0wt% or less of Cu, the remainder being Fe and the evitable impurities. The method for preparing the steel is also comprised of heat-rolling the steel to anneal it under a reductive atmosphere of temperatures of 800 to 1200°C. The heat-rolling plate contains 70% or more of hydrogen. The oxidative layer of steel plate surface is reduced to recover chrome-free layer.
