PURPOSE: A method for controlling an extrinsic service remote function for personal communication subscribers is provided to make a setup state of an extrinsic function service corresponding to an inputted extrinsic function code number changed if a personal communication subscriber sequentially dials up an intrinsic remote function control directory number after inputting a subscriber telephone number, his personal ID and the extrinsic function code number according to a voice message. CONSTITUTION: If a personal communication subscriber dials up a specific remote function control directory number(100), the dialed number is received to a base station and forwarded to an ASS-W(Access Switching for Wireless subscriber) through a BSC(Base Station Controller). The ASS-W transfers the digits corresponding to the number to an NTP(Number Translation Processor) in an INS(Interconnection Network Subsystem). The NPT judges whether the call is an intrinsic remote function control directory number stored in a database and given to the subscriber(102). If the call is the intrinsic remote function control directory number stored in the database, the NTP transmits a message(LOCREQ), including remote function control call information, to an HLR through an ASS-T(Access Switching for Trunk)(106). If the HLR transmits a subscriber directory number request message(RUIDIR) to a GSP(Global Service Processor) in the ASS-W through the ASS-T, a voice message generated from a GSI(Global Service Interface) is transmitted to the base station through the BSC, and then transferred to the subscriber(108). If the subscriber dials up his subscriber telephone number corresponding to the voice message, the digits corresponding to the dialed number are transmitted to the HLR through the base station, the BSC, the ASS-W, the INS, and the ASS-T(112).
