PURPOSE: A weather strip corner joint and its preparation method are provided, to reduce the processing pressure, thereby preventing the burr from being generated, to simplify the manufacturing process and to improve the productivity. CONSTITUTION: The weather strip corner joint is made of thermoplastic vulcanizate elastic material instead of ethylene propylene diene polymethylene (EPDM). The method comprises the steps of injecting the thermoplastic vulcanizate elastic material into a mold; cooling the injected one; and drawing out filament from the cooled one. Preferably the injection process is carried out at the injection pressure of 200-1,700 kgf/cm2, and at 150-280 deg.C for 1-5 sec; and the cooling process is carried out at 10-30 deg.C for 5-10 min. Preferably the thermoplastic vulcanizate elastic material is used after it is melted at 200-270 deg.C.
