The Christmas tree stand is mechanically self-fixing and incorporates a container containing three , four or more attachments with one or more holes in. Each hole has a claw (1) fixed to it. Each claw is sickle-shaped with a barb (4) on its top end. At the apex of the bend in the sickle-shaped piece is a hole (5). The base of the container is water-tight.
