PURPOSE: A fabricating method for a liquid crystal display is to improve its reliability by increasing reliability of a pad part and solving an erosion problem of bottom film. CONSTITUTION: After a gage pad(110) and a common electrode(130) having a double film structure of a chromium film(101)/aluminum-neodymium film(102) is formed on an insulation substrate(1), a gate insulation film(2) is deposited thereon. Then, an auxiliary data line(200) is formed by depositing and etching a metal for interconnecting first data. Next, an interlayer insulation film(3), an amorphous silicon film and a doped amorphous silicon film are deposited thereon, these films being continuously etched to form a semiconductor activation pattern(300) on the gate insulation film. A contact hole(C3) is formed on the three layers to expose a part of the auxiliary data line. A source and drain electrode, a data line and a data pad are formed by depositing and etching a metal for interconnecting second data. The contact hole is formed to expose the chromium film of the gate pad and the data pad by depositing and etching a protect film on a front surface.
